Cosmetic Tattoo

By Louise Geelong

Louise is a skin aesthetician and makeup artist with over 17 years of industry experience, completing her diploma at the world-renowned Blanche MacDonald Centre in Vancouver, Canada, in 2005 and working in clinics, salons, day spas and resorts in both Canada and Australia. Louise has received certification with over 50 professional skin and makeup brands internationally in products and advanced technique before settling in Geelong in 2014.

Louise found a natural progression into the art of cosmetic and paramedical tattoo in 2016, dedicating herself to the fine art of this trade. Having now trained with numerous PMU superstars, including Rita Porecca, Nicole Prance, Georgie Westley, Anna Pezina, Andrea Darby and MCTT Melbourne, in addition to attending over 15 advanced masterclasses, Louise has since completed thousands of procedures. Coupled with her expertise in skin, beauty and makeup, you can trust your results will be nothing less than perfect in style, shape, placement and colour using a confidential and professional approach.

A Note From

Louise

“My work and clients are my passion. Restoring confidence and emotional healing from tattoos is a gift I am incredibly grateful to give, as confidence and healing breed beauty itself.

Projection, dimension and balance are something I pride myself on when creating supernatural-looking permanent makeup, always considering natural shapes, bone structure, age and skin tone to map my designs and placement, ensuring every procedure ages well for many years to come. This requires me to be fabulously clever, adaptable and dynamic in my treatment and design choices, something I look forward to every single day!”

A Note From

Louise

“I pride myself on honesty to all my clients when disclosing any risks to their procedures and any factors that may affect the longevity of their tattoos. I feel ongoing education is paramount to stay on top of my game and succeed in the PMU industry, where Australian standards are not yet fully developed. I encourage all clients to be thorough in their research when choosing their micropigmentation practitioner and artist. Be sure to choose a practitioner or artist that can answer all of your questions confidently, display only the highest level of safe practice and be someone you feel you will have an ongoing relationship with because, I promise, you will be in contact with one another for many years to come!”

Consultations are thorough and transparent, where your health and lifestyle are reviewed and how that may or may not affect your tattoo is discussed, including colours and shapes on the skin, as well as your pre-care and aftercare instructions to ensure you know what to expect during the healing process and you are ready to book your procedure when it suits that time in your life. It’s during this time we want to educate our clients on what to expect from their cosmetic tattoo procedure, the techniques, shapes, styles, placement and colours best suited for them, their skin type, their lifestyle choices and age group.
